What is the CSRF?
The Community Services Recovery Fund (CSRF) is a $400 million investment from the Government of Canada to support Community Service Organizations (CSOs) as they focus on how to adapt their organizations for COVID-19 pandemic recovery. Now more than ever, CSOs are playing a key role in addressing persistent and complex social problems faced by all communities. The purpose of the CSRF is to strengthen the internal capacity of Community Service Organizations facing immediate and long-term impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The CSRF is being distributed nationally by Community Foundations of Canada, United Way Centraide Canada and the Canadian Red Cross. Each national organization funds a specific project focus area through their local chapters.  Innisfil Community Foundation is proud to be working with our local and national partners on this collaborative funding opportunity.

How much funding is available?
Community Foundations of Canada has provided Innisfil Community Foundation with $285,000 in CSRF funding to help strengthen the organizations serving our community. CSOs may apply to Innisfil Community Foundation for CSRF funding in the amount of $10,000 – $100,000.

Project Focus Areas
CSRF projects will work within one of the Project Focus Areas below. These projects should be designed to strengthen the internal capacity of CSOs. Applications to the Innisfil Community Foundation must fall under the Investing in Systems and Processes category.
