In 2022, the Innisfil Community Foundation made a $10,000 grant to Georgian College for an annual Nursing Bursary, with preference given to Innisfil students. We were delighted to receive this thank you letter from the 2024 recipient, Jade. We are so thrilled to support this future nurse!
We’re thrilled to announce a generous donation of $5,567 from the Innisfil Community Foundation to the “Because of You, We Can” campaign! This funding will help purchase an epidural pain pump for our Obstetrics Department, improving the birthing experience for expectant mothers in our community.

Empower Simcoe’s goals for Respitality Experiences:
To accommodate a minimum of 2 people to allow selected Unpaid Caregivers to invite a partner or friend(s) to enjoy some social time.
To provide a well-rounded experience where no additional costs are incurred.
To offer a variety of activities and allow the selected Unpaid Caregivers to choose items to ensure the Respitality Experience is meaningful for them.
To provide an opportunity for some quality “Me Time” to allow Unpaid Caregivers a chance to relax and recharge.
To create community awareness of the tremendous commitment Unpaid Caregivers provide to support Developmental Services, Health Care, Senior Services, Mental Health Services and more…
To let Unpaid Caregivers know that their community recognizes them and supports them.
A grant to the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County paid for training booklets, Wii Consoles and resource materials for Caregivers in Innisfil to help them continue to meet the growing need of caring for loved ones with Dementia or Alzheimer’s. There are 11,500 people in Simcoe County living with Dementia or Alzheimer’s.
